With the deepest of sadness, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Glen Reeder. Jeffrey was born in Kennewick, WA on September 12, 1991 to Jeff and Dana Reeder. Jeffrey was the youngest of three boys and a pleasant surprise to the family.

Being the youngest, Jeffrey was inherently a momma's boy. Jeffrey was on the wrong end of a lot of situations with his older brothers, but mom was always there to make sure he was okay and included in whatever the older kids were doing. Her love and care for Jeffrey never wavered over the years and he loved his mom more than anything. Jeffrey will forever be her baby.

At a young age Jeffrey found a passion for playing sports. He made a lot of lifelong friends through his times at Kennewick American, Husky football and many other teams along the way. Jeffrey attended Southridge High School and later Universal Technical Institute in Arizona with his brother Taylor.

Growing up, Jeffrey and Taylor (brother) could be found doing anything their older brother (Jordan) was doing. The boys enjoyed countless games of wiffle ball, tackle football and basketball. Many neighbor kids would gather in the Reeder yard for whatever games were going on that day. As fun as that was, nothing could compare to the call from Dad on a summer afternoon, "get ready, we're going fishing when I get home". Fishing was Jeffrey's greatest passion, and he was very good at it. He especially enjoyed sharing this passion with his son.

May 20, 2017 was the best day of Jeffrey's life. He welcomed his son, Jaxon Ryker Reeder to the world. Jaxon would stay in UW Medical Center for the first few months after birth and Jeffrey never left his side. The two of them enjoyed doing everything together. Jeffrey was extremely proud of how smart and passionate his son was becoming. It's true what they say, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree". Jaxon got to see the best versions of his daddy and will miss him forever.

Those who knew him best knew of his big heart, kind soul and tremendous love for his son.

A public viewing will be held Friday, June 23, 5pm-8pm at Mueller's Funeral Home in Kennewick. Service to be held Saturday, June 24 at 10am at Mueller's Funeral Home. Please join the family at CG Public house following the service for food & drinks.
