Jeffery Frank
Yuhasz
Jun 3, 1950 — Jan 15, 2025
On January 15th, 2025 we lost a great man, my dad. He was surrounded by family, holding his hand to say goodbye.
Dad was born June 3rd, 1950 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to Frank and Helen Yuhasz. Dad was the oldest of three children, Alan and his baby sister Carol.
Dad was a star athlete in high school, excelling in baseball and as quarterback in football. He had offers to play in college but in 1967 the Vietnam War was happening so dad enlisted in the Air Force to serve his country, after going over seas the kid from New Jersey was stationed at Radar Hill in Othello, this is where he met the love of his life, Mary Lou and her 3-year-old son Tony. This is a tribute to the man who raised me. I often think of the Brad Paisley song "The dad he didn't have to be" He was a great dad.
Jeff is survived by his son Tony (Katrina) Dixon of Burbank, Sister Carol (Dave) Ferguson of New Jersey, Ex wife Mary Lou of Wyoming, and the pride and joy of his life, grandchildren; Kayla Dixon of McKinney, Tx and Aj Dixon of Burbank.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Helen Yuhasz and his little brother Alan. Dad requested that no service be held and that any donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
