Jay Dee Brown died March 6, 2021 in Pasco Washington after a lengthy battle with cancer. Jay was born in York, Nebraska, February 27, 1937 to Jay Dee Brown Sr. and Myrtle (Reed). He graduated from York High School in 1954. He was in the Army for three years in the 11th Airborne Division in Munich, Germany. Jay worked at Mail Advertising Corp. for a number of years. He retired after 20 years as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Pasco, Washington. Jay was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Twila Buras (Don) and Laurel Menzie (Jack), and his daughter, Abigail Marie Tencza (Mark). Jay is survived by his brother Norman Brown Sr. (Evelyn), his daughter, Jennifer Boehm (Curtis), grandson, Jay Curtis Boehm, and granddaughter, Madelyn Kathleen Boehm. Jay donated regularly to Wounded Warrior Project and several veteran's charities.
