Jane Cranford, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & sister passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025. Jane was born the second of six children to Alec & Frieda Buxbaum on December 14, 1936, in Sidney, Montana. She grew up in Sidney, Ennis, and Miles City, Montana on the family farms working with her siblings, tending the animals and enjoying farm life.

Jane married Don Cranford (the handsome Air Force gentleman she met out on the town with her sister MaryAnn) on November 11, 1956. Jane & Don lived in many places in their 23 years in the Air Force, Colorado, Montana, Philippines, Arizona, France, Illinois, Montana again, Oregon and finally retiring to Pasco, Washington in 1974.

Jane was a paraeducator with the Pasco School District and worked at Robert Frost Elementary from 1977-1999. She loved working outside in her yard, crafting and spending time with her girls and grandchildren.

Jane is survived by her four loving daughters, DeVonne Roth, Laura Cranford, Connie Kearney, and Janice (Gene) Batey. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren who loved and adored their grandmother: Krista, Mike, Sheldon, Haley, Matthew, Jenna & Jessica. She was also a great-grandmother to Corbin, Emerson and Addison. Additionally, she leaves behind her sisters MaryAnn Crabill, Elsie Schye, Diane DeLange, Kathy Johnson, and sister-in-law Laura Buxbaum.

She is preceded in death by her husband Don, her parents, her brother Alexander Buxbaum and son-in-law Duane Kearney.

There will be a celebration of Life for Jane on May 16, 2025, from 5-7PM, at 9800 W. Maple Drive, Pasco, WA (Our last beer Friday!!!)

Mom's impact on all our lives is something that we will all cherish in our hearts and will live forever in our memories. We love you and we miss you, until we meet again XOXOXO.
