James Wesley Pruitt Jr. was born February 17, 1950 to James and Myrtle Pruitt in Pasco, Washington. He was a student of the Pasco School District. After high school he spent a tour in the US Army serving in Vietnam. Upon returning home, he married the love of his life Kathy Pruitt. To that union, two daughters were born. James was a member of St. James CME Church, which he joined at an early age. He leaves to cherish his home going two daughters, Erica Davis, Kent, WA and Tazarra Pruitt, Kennewick, WA; his special love Kathy Pruitt; sisters Mollie Pruitt, Pasco, WA, Kenyatta Johnson, Seattle, WA; 6 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. James CME Church, 325 N. Owens, in Pasco, with interment to follow at City View Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 22 from 5-8:00pm at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco.
