Obituary

James "Jim" Reed Pratt (Papa), a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 2, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born August 30, 1954, in Portland, Oregon.

Jim was a long-time resident of Kennewick, WA where he ran a gutter company and later worked as the maintenance manager for RMC for 25+ years. He spent much of his time watching his kids and grandkids play sports (maybe while sharing a few choice words for the refs), he was a bowler, a fisherman, a golfer, and a genuinely kind and giving person.

Jim was well known to be the fixer of all things. He could fix anything, and if he didn't know how to get it done, that wouldn't stop him, he would figure it out. There was no question he loved his family and friends and would be there for them when asked. He would freely give- giving a place to sleep, a vehicle to drive (even at the cost of his own transportation), a helping hand, and would never ask anything in return. Sometimes he would give a grunt while saying he was having "a Jim dandy day" trying to make you think he was gruff, but to know him is to know he was one of the most loving and caring individuals around.

He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Dorthy Pratt, his brother Ken (Diane), brother Randy and daughter Angela Marie Pratt.

He leaves behind his wife Naomi Pratt, sister Kim (Jody) Darden, sons Steve (Tracy) and Scott (Shawna) Pratt, daughters Stephanie (Dan) Beha and Crystal Keller, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jim will be deeply missed by many.
