James Wilson
Eberhart, Jr.
May 18, 1950 — Dec 19, 2023
James W. Eberhart Jr., 73, was born in Gordon, Nebraska to James Eberhart Sr. and Lois Eberhart. His family traveled to Pakistan in 1965 and they lived there until 1967 where his dad helped build the famous Mangla dam; the largest earth filled dam in the world at that time. During those years, a colony of Americans formed from the people who worked and built the dam. They were a second family to Jim. The life they had over there was so unusual but the relationships that developed from those years and the family they made meant so much to him.
He later graduated from Kennewick High School; Class of 1968 then immediately served in the U.S. Navy from 1969-1972 as an aviation electrician. He was a member of IBEW #112 for over 45 years. Jim was also a Pasco Police Reserve Officer for 17 years. He married Donna Eberhart in 1993 and they recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Aundria Eberhart, and his son, Michael Eberhart. He is survived by his wife, Donna Eberhart, his sister, Donna & Bob Reed, brother Bill & Lois Eberhart, daughter, Brenda Wharton, son, Dan & Janet Wharton, grandchildren, Chase, Tiara, Rebecca, Christian, Alpha, and Hendrix and many other family members including the "Cruzin' Cousins".
An open house Celebration of Life will be held on January 20th, 2024, from 1:00-5:00PM at the Pasco Eagles Club. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
