James Andrew Christensen was born to Andrew and Hansine Christensen in Del Rapids, South Dakota on March 16, 1937. He died in Kennewick, Washington on January 23, 2019. During his lifetime James was a scientist, author, inventor, restaurateur, grocer, gandy dancer, and a devoted husband father, grandpa and great grandpa. James is survived by his brother, Charles (Lois) Christensen; children Dave, Victor, Jeanine, Mike and Joe; his grandchildren Brandy & James, Brandon, Devon, Josh, Mariah; his great grandchildren Heaven, Dominic, Elsie, Layla & little big Joe.
