Obituary

Jakk Wesley Roach was born in Chico, California on September 13th, 1998 and died unexpectedly on July 1st, 2018 in Pasco, Washington Jakk attended school in Pasco and graduated from Pasco High in 2017. He was continuing his education at CBC. He participated in band (including jazz, marching, and pep band), orchestra, mariachi, choir and drama. He was a member of the Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps and Impact Percussion. He was an avid musician. Jakk started piano lessons when he was in grade school and continued with percussion, marimba and drum set; he also expanded his knowledge by learning ukulele, violin and bass guitar. He had an extensive rubber duck collection that started when he was young and as he grew older he began collecting drums and cymbals. Jakk is survived by his parents Mike and Holli Roach, his sister Carson Roach and brother by choice, Armand Otness. He will be remembered by his grandparents Dick and Jane Roach, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A celebration of Jakk's life will be held at the Pasco Red Lion on Friday, July 13th at 2:00 pm followed directly by a reception in the same location. His family welcomes anyone who knew Jakk, loved him, watched him perform, or was touched by his spirit in any way through the duration of his short life to come celebrate with them. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to the Impact Percussion Group, 20 N Benton St., Kennewick, WA 99336.
