Jacqueline C
Charles
Jul 9, 1946 — Jun 18, 2026
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Jacqueline Charlotta Charles, who left us peacefully on 06/18/2026 at the age of 79. A devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, compassion and unwavering devotion. Jacqueline or Jackie as most people knew her, was born on 07/09/1946 in Des Moines, Iowa to Stanley and Theresa Penne. She graduated from Kennewick High School in 1964. Jackie had numerous jobs, including working at Ernie's Printing as an office manager, until her retirement. As a mother, Jackie had an extraordinary ability to make each of us feel valued and loved, no matter the circumstances. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she was a dear friend and confidante to many. She found joy in Westerns and bowling. Jackie was a secretary for the Twilighters League and Desert Winds for many years. She is survived by her children, Cynthia and Jason; grandchildren Christopher, Brayden and Shayla; her sister Linda and countless nieces and nephews. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband John; brothers in law, Larry Charles and Dan Woods; sisters in law Sherry Charles, Beverly Charles, Shirley Woods, and her parents. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial on Union St. In Kennewick on Thursday 07/02/2026 at 10 am. All who knew and loved Jackie are welcome to join us, as we remember her beautiful soul. Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that Jackie will forever be with us in spirit. Her love will continue to guide us, and her memory will live on in the stories we share and the lessons she taught us. Rest in peace, dear mother. You will always be loved, always remembered and never forgotten.
