Jacob Robert Cotta moved to Heaven, to be in the presence of Jesus, on September 8th, 2023 at the age of 17. Jacob left us with an amazing gift in knowing that he is with the Lord. God used Jacob's ministry to have an amazing impact on his peers. He routinely shared the gospel and talked about his relationship with Jesus to encourage others in our Eternal Hope. We are so proud of him and all that he did to pour into the lives of others.

Jacob was known to be best friends with everyone and everyone's best friend. He loved the experience of taking something common and turning it into comedic entertainment. He would do and say odd and extreme things, creating moments of shock and laughter, to simply enjoy the reactions of others. Jacob's heart was always for defending the weak, standing up for those that needed an advocate, and speaking a word from Jesus to encourage others. He was a senior at Chiawana High School in Pasco. He was very active in his youth group (86-11 at Calvary Chapel Tri-cities), Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Young Marines, and many other circles of influence.

He will be dearly missed by his family, Joe, Jenni, Joey, Joshua, Julia, and Jayden, as well has his extended family and his wonderful friends.

Jacob's memorial service will be at Calvary Chapel Tri-cities on September 28th at 4:30pm. All are invited to celebrate his life, to learn about his continued ministry and legacy, and hear about our eternal hope in Jesus Christ.
