John R. Jack Williams, 81, Pasco, died Monday September 29, 2008. Jack was born in Prosser Washington on October 25, 1926 to Dibby and Carroll Williams. He attended schools in Prosser, White Bluffs and Richland. Jack enlisted in the Army during World War II and served as a 2nd Lt. in the infantry, being honorably discharged Sept. 5, 1945. He valued his memberships in the Junior Chamber awarded Young Man of the Year in 1961; Pasco Chamber of Commerce past president 1969-70; Pasco Kiwanis past president 1972-73 and the Tri-City Country Club. Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha Jane Williams; son Kevin R.Williams Rhonda; daughters Kate Williams Dennis George and Kristine Williams Hulet Brett; brother-in-law Bennett Clark; sister-in-law Shirley Larson; grandchildren Tyler and Marissa Willams, Georgia Williams Thompson Timothy, Nicole and Rene Hulet; and great grandchildren Xavier, Jaya and Isaiah Thompson. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Monday October 6, 2008 at Kennewick First Lutheran Church, 418 N. Yelm, Kennewick.
