Jack D. Schmauder passed away December 25th, 2023. Jack was born on December 18, 1942, in Spokane WA to Jake and Margaret Schmauder. Jack graduated from Davenport High School and Washington State University.

Jack was a highly respected employee of United Finance for 40 years and he served as the Manager for 39 years until his retirement in 2004. Outside of work, Jack was blessed with great friends and family. He had many hobbies he enjoyed, including sausage making, clock refurbishment and repair, woodworking and more. He was passionate about antiques and took road trips to search for junque with his son to use as lawn ornaments or adorn his home and shop walls.

After retirement, he stayed busy with his woodworking, clock tinkering, storytelling and endless dice and card games with Kathy… he thoroughly enjoyed being in his happy place, the shop!

Jack is survived by his wife of 20 years Kathy Schmauder, his son Tracy Schmauder (Nancy) and granddaughter, Amanda K. Smith (Ryan).

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Dorothy Morse; two brothers, Kenneth Schmauder and Larry Schmauder.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 13th at 2:00 PM at his son's home.
