Ivylyn Victoria Green, 88, of Kennewick, went home peacefully to meet her Lord Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Ivylyn was born on September 1, 1927, in Trelawny, Jamaica, West Indies, the 3rd of 10 surviving children of Isaac and Ida Green. She later moved to the capital Kingston and subsequently immigrated to the United States in 1955. She established residence in Nashville, Tennessee, and was a longstanding member of the Cleveland Street Baptist Church where she was an usher and bible study teacher. She worked for 30 years as a data input clerk for The National Baptist Publishing Board, in Nashville, until her retirement in November 1995. She moved to the state of Washington in 2003 to be closer to her family. She was a member of Prayer Watch Christian Center in Kennewick for many years until moving in the last year to Highway Tabernacle Church of God. She is survived by her son Derrick Marshall and daughter-in-law, Miyoung; grandsons Stephen (Portland, OR) and Peter (Pullman, WA); brother Alva and sister Nicy (Florida), sister Virginia (New York), sister Lurlda and brother Lynford (Jamaica). She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother and 3 sisters. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2016, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, WA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, 11:00 am at the Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home with interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
