Isidro Uribe Valdez was born on June 1st, 1962, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, to Porfirio Valdez and Maria Uribe. Isidro had 6 siblings Rosa, Porfirio Jr. Luciana, Luciano, Teresa, and Erik. Isidro was the oldest of all siblings he loved and looked over them, like a father.

In 1979, Isidro married his lifelong love, Ofelia Soto, and together they built a life rich in love and laughter. Through their union, he was blessed with seven children: Isidro Junior, Ismael, Yesenia, Ofelia, Isaac, Maria Teresa, and Isaiah. Who then, in turn, filled Isidro's life with the joy of being a grandfather, Papa Grande.

Isidro lived in Washington for over 50 years at that time he furthered his education by attending CBC and earning his GED. Isidro became a born-again Christian who attended River View Baptized church. He would find time to volunteer at local food banks and would make time to deliver food to those in need.

Isidro loved running his own semi-trucking business hauling different states and driving locally. He continued supporting his family, pursuing his passion, and discovering new places and things to do. Isidro often enjoyed spending time with family playing table games, BBQ, fishing, kite flying, and storytelling. He was blessed and thankful throughout his life showing kindness and generosity by putting others needs before his own. His personality was spontaneous and full of surprises. Using his favorite motto "never Judge a book by its cover. Isidro was the head of the household, a rock showing wisdom & strength to overcome any obstacles.

He was his wife's world, they loved each other unconditionally. Isidro was not perfect, but even with his flaws, he was loved by those around him. His family has stood by him every step of the way as he battled his medical conditions until God called him home.

There's no doubt that Isidro is at peace & loved by everyone. Being Papa Grande was one of his greatest joys. He loved all his grandchildren and showered them with hugs, delicious treats, and anything they asked for. He never had the heart to say no! Isidro enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone. He made the best-fried fish and cornbread. Best upside-down pineapple cakes and turkeys every thanksgiving. Those are some of the memories that his loved ones will cherish forever.

Isidro enjoyed life fully with no regrets. There was no limitation to what he could do or did, He was a jack of all trades, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories with his children and grandchildren. All who knew him will deeply miss his free spirit, laughter, dance moves, and wisdom.
