Isaac Dexter Cleveland was suddenly called home to be with his Heavenly Father on December 12, 2022. Born in Spokane, Washington on November 1, 1984, to Ron and Mari Cleveland, he made a home with his family in Pasco, Washington. Isaac had the biggest heart and felt everything deeply. A physically large presence who played both football and wrestled, and even did a stint as a bouncer—but for anyone who knew him, he really was just a big teddy bear. He had the best hugs, and he was always at-the-ready to listen to a friend. Isaac's unbelievably strong faith in Jesus was ever-present and he modeled his faith to his sons and community.

Isaac was a Star Wars superfan. He loved spicy hot sauce, learning a new technique from a cooking show, and was always drawn to water. He loved spending summer days at his grandparents swimming pool in the foothills of Mt. Spokane, the lakes of the Pacific Northwest, and most of all the ocean. He wanted to swim with sharks but settled for dolphins during a Hawaiian family vacation. He loved being able to check another bucket list item off his list when he got to see the Boston Red Sox play at Fenway Park. Isaac could connect with his nephew discussing the details of "Stranger Things" or with his aunts in the kitchen cooking together for his mom's 70th birthday celebration. He cherished his collection of Funko POP! and appreciated a good cup of coffee honed from his years as a barista. His signature beard and wide perfect smile were featured on a t-shirt for the band, Deathbreaker, who also penned a song in his honor called "Insight." A drummer and discriminating music lover, he loved touring and spending time and hosting fellow musicians on their tours.

Each holiday season he created a daily video in collaboration with Kara and his son Jonah, counting down the December days to Christmas—playing Christmas charades, taste-testing dairy free egg nogs, sharing favorite Christmas movies, or showing off his son's holiday jammies. Every person asked responded without hesitation that his proudest accomplishment was his boys and his committed marriage to Kara. Isaac and Kara met on the Journey with Christ weekends, a Christian youth ministry. In 2008, they married in Kara's hometown of Washtucna while Isaac and all his groomsmen walked down the aisle in Converse sneakers and donned sunglasses after saying "I do." The family grew in 2014 to welcome Jonah Isaac and seven years later in 2021 Gideon Conrad joined to create their family of four.

Isaac is survived by his wife Kara, and sons Jonah and Gideon, his parents Marianna and Ronald, his brother Erick, sister Felice, many nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and his grandma Irma, all who loved and will miss him dearly. We will celebrate Isaac and share memories of his humor, generosity, kindness, and conviction on Saturday, January 14, 2022, at 2PM at The Living Room Community Church (1409 S Garfield St, Kennewick, WA 99337). The service will be followed by a gathering and time to be together. Please feel free to bring a story and/or your favorite photo of Isaac to share as we document and honor his life.
