Howard Peck, 90, a longtime resident of the Tri-Cities, left us shortly after noon on Friday, November 18th, 2011. He was born a farm boy March 8th, 1921 near Glenburn, North Dakota to Frank and Anna Peck. He and wife Sylvia were married in 1945 and moved to Pasco from North Dakota in 1952. He worked as a gas and oil distributor in partnership with Ludwig Oil of Kennewick. He retired in 1987. He and his wife loved to travel, so after retirement, they went every summer. Their adventures took them as far north as the Arctic Circle, as far east as Maine, and as far south at Guatemala. His favorite hobbies were fishing and building just about anything with wheels. He is preceded in death by his wife Sylvia, and brothers Gene and Duane. He is survived by his son David Beryna of Pasco, his grandson Jayson Sharon of Pasco, his granddaughter Krista Folta Chris of Kennewick, his great-grandchildren Breanne, Ryan and Taylor, and his very close friend Nelda Pape of Kennewick. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, 12:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick.
