Helen was one of three children born to Lawrence and Glendora Lloyd. She was born at the family home in Burnside, PA on the 18th of May, 1927. Helen departed this life on March 7, 2012 to be with our Lord and Savior and husband Winston Jacob Roland. Helen was a homemaker and took great pleasure and pride in her home and family. She and her husband, Winston were married on June 30, 1948 and lived in PA, and VA before moving to Richland, WA in 2000 to be near their daughter and her family. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, mother, father and brother, James. She is survived by her sister, Zelma Henson and husband Bill Henson of Dumfries, VA.; daughter, Jo-Ann Roland Neely and husband Michael Alan Neely of Richland, WA.; son, Winston Lloyd Roland of Friendship, Indiana; two granddaughters, Shannon Brooke Colson and husband James Colson of Benton City, WA,; and Blake Erin Wright and husband Airick Wright of Richland, WA. She was also the proud great-grandmother to Shayla, Sydnee and Samantha Wright and Jacob Colson. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, March 9, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, located at the corner of 10th and Union Street in Kennewick.
