Helen Joyce Baker Gould went home to God early Thursday morning, January 16, 2014. She joins her husband, Eugene Franklin Gould, who predeceased her in 1991. Helen leaves behind a daughter, Terri Flink, her husband Gerry; and a son, Tim Gould. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Jennifer (Flink) Khumalo and her husband Wes; Meghan (Flink) Dalton and her husband Ian; Caitlin Gould, Nathan Gould, and Caleb Gould; and great-grandson, Thomas Dalton, and soon to be born great-granddaughter Khumalo. Helen was born in 1927 in Elsie, Nebraska and grew up on a farm with her parents Alma & Jeff Baker, 3 sisters, & 2 brothers. Her sisters Jean and Dorothy and brother Joe predeceased her and she is survived by her sister Mary and brother John. Helen resided in Kennewick for 55 years and recently moved to Yakima to live with her son. Throughout her life, she enjoyed reading, drawing, playing cards with her church friends, trading riddles with her grandchildren, and spending time with her family. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25th at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick with viewing on Friday from 3 to 8:00p.m. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Helen.
