Obituary

Harlene Cornett Searcey (Honey)

Born: December 12, 1939

Passed: May 2, 2024

Harlene was born in Bend, OR. At a young age her family moved to Athena, OR where she graduated from Weston-McEwen High School. She moved to California to become an airline stewardess for Pacific Airlines. She also resided in Reno & Henderson, NV, Bend, OR- where she worked for Deschutes County Building Dept, Waldport, OR- where she was a City Council Member and cared for her ailing parents and finally residing in Kennewick, WA.

Among many things, Honey was an impeccable home interior designer; all of her homes were a showplace. Later in her retirement years, she became an avid and outstanding golfer. Rain or Shine, she was always ready to go- with her two true-loves Mike & Trixie on board. Even during her illness, she was still planning to get back on the course. A true fighter. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Honey was preceded in death by her parents Harlie & Dulcie (Dutch) Cornett. She is succeeded in life by her loving husband of 45 years, Mike Searcey, sons' Rick (Janet) Burr & Robb Burr, her brother Skip (Peggy) Cornett, daughter Leanne Searcey, son Mark Searcey, her sweet Yorkie Trixie and many wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
