Greg Montgomery, 56, passed away August 15, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. His loving wife was by his side. Greg was born July 26, 1950 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Merle and Norma Montgomery. His family moved to Spokane in 1955 and then to the Tri-Cities in 1958. He graduated from Kennewick High School in 1968. He then worked most of his life in the HVAC parts industry, most recently with Thermal Supply for the past 25 years. Greg married the love of his life, JoAnn Stafford on June 24, 1978 and they had more than 28 wonderful years together. He was so very proud of his four sons, one from a previous marriage and three with JoAnn. He enjoyed walks with his wife, reading, computer games, woodworking projects and trips to the mountains. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn and his sons, Jeremy of Pasco, Michael and wife Michelle of Seattle, David of Seattle, Kevin and fiancée Bianca of Tri-Cities. He is also survived by his parents Merle and Norma Montgomery, brother Gary Montgomery and wife Judy, and sister Gail Gates, all residing in the Tri-Cities. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and JoAnn?s sister and five brothers and their families.
