Gracie Mae Wilson was born on July 22,1949 in Pasco, WA to Elijah and Olevia Beed. The 2nd of four children Gracie grew up in the Pasco area where she attended Pasco High and later Moses Lake High. During this time she married Charles Jonson and to this union, Cynthia and Anthony were born. Later in 1970, she married Holbert Wilson Jr and Shakila Wilson Kelly was born. This marriage lasted for almost 51 years with Bert passing away in 2021.
Gracie was a very hard worker. There were times where she worked multiple jobs and attending school at the University of Washington while raising two kids. Eventually she ended up on the Hanford site as an Accounts Payable clerk for 35+ years. Gracie was a Pasco Police reserve officer for 20+ years. She supported many charities both financially and physically. On the weekends she was usually on the sidelines cheering on her grandkids. When the Tri-Cities Fever where here she was ready to get there early for the tailgating (G-14 Crew). Her other hobbies involved hunting, camping, FISHING, doing puzzles and gambling which she was usually pretty lucky at.
After the love of her life Bert died in 2021 her flame seemed to dim and her health started to get progressively worse. She fought the brave fight till she finally decided it was time to go. Family and dear family friends were there to say their farewells.
Gracie is preceded in death by her parents and two siblings Robin Beed and Lorraine "Puddin" Marshall.
Gracie is survived by her three children Cynthia Johnson, Anthony Johnson and Shakila Wilson Kelly. There were 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grand kids Brother: Benard Beed(Linda) of Seattle Sister: Doranne Houston(Larry) of Pasco Sisters in Laws : Sara Wilson St Francisville, La Patty Schmidt Kennewick, WA Van Wilson Savannah, Ga Lavern Wilson and Ann Wilson of Dublin, Ga Linda O'Brien, Henry and Alma Montelongo and special childhood friend Mollie Pruitt.
