Obituary

Glenda Rae Schiefelbein Potter passed away on February 12, 2009, in Pasco, WA. She was born October 12, 1942, in Winner South Dakota to Lester & Gladys Sims. Her family moved to the Tri-Cities in 1953 were Glenda graduated from Pasco High. She went on to marry Gary Potter and had two children Lisa & Brad. Glenda worked for Vitro Engineering as a secretary for many years until her illness forced her to leave the work force. Glenda always will be remembered for her easy smile that lit up the room and her eagerness to help all who needed it. Despite her illness she had a memory like no other, she remembered everyone she ever met by name. She was the life of the party, The Towne Crier of Tri-Cities Retirement Inn where she lived for the past several years until her passing. Glenda loved her grandchildren Ciara and Andrew and was always so proud of their accomplishments. She cherished her sisters Sandra and Karen and was a devoted member of Pasco First Christian Church. Glenda is survived by Sisters Sandra Rowley, Pasco, Karen Sims, Kennewick, daughter Lisa Potter, Tacoma, son and daughter-in-law Brad and Laura Potter, West Richland, granddaughter Ciara Potter, West Richland, & grandson Andrew Potter-Maul, Tacoma. She is preceded in death by her parents Lester & Gladys Sims.
