Glen Ford Roundy, Jr. was born to Glen Ford Roundy, Sr. and Cynthia (Anderson) Roundy on October 3, 1938, in Newton, Utah.

Glen grew up in a home with three sisters: Shirlene, Arlene, and Carol. This meant Glen would often flee to the hills behind his house in Cache Junction, taking with him his much-loved dogs. He would be gone for hours exploring and hunting…until he got hungry. He always had fond memories of his mother's cooking and baking.

Glen excelled in all vocational classes that were related to farming, ranching, or shop. A couple years after completing high school, Glen was called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Northern California Mission.

Following the successful completion of the mission, Glen returned to Utah but was not destined to stay there. Glen has been known to say, "I've never been sorry I left Utah. But I am glad I stayed there long enough to find my true love." Glen married Diane Hodson in the Logan Utah Temple on October 11, 1962.

Shortly thereafter in 1963, Glen and Diane moved to Royal Slope, Washington, to pursue Glen's dream of farming in the Columbia Basin. In 1965, they moved to Pasco, Washington, to begin their farming adventure. Times were tough as Glen and Diane had no money, electricity, or running water. But they had each other. That and a lot of hard work and dedication were all they needed to eventually make Glen's dream of running a successful farm a reality. As recently as the day before he died, Glen said as he often did, "Through it all Diane never complained. She stood by me through everything, including living situations that were so awful they made my heart ache when we were first starting out."

Since arriving in Pasco, Glen truly loved every minute of farming. One of his favorite parts was developing new farm ground out of sagebrush. He was also fond of fishing, welding, growing flowers, and spending time with family. Over the years he became known for making everyone he met feel like a lifelong friend. He was committed to learning and reading, and helping others, often in unseen ways. His integrity and moral compass are unmatched: his love and compassion unrivaled.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings, Leona, Dean, Margie, and Shirlene. Glen leaves behind his loving wife, Diane; his daughter, Teresa Dee, and her spouse, Jeff Garrett, and his son, Stacy Ford Roundy and his wife, Amy. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Chris & Jenn Roundy, Spencer & Amanda Roundy, Matt & Abby Garrett, Mark & Jacqueline Garrett, Kassandra & Blake Pumphrey, Tucker & Ingrid Roundy, Ryker Roundy, and Elizabeth Roundy, along with 12 great-grandchildren, He is also survived by his sisters, Carol and Arlene.

We love him and miss him and will strive to live as he did until we meet again.
