GLADYS ANITA CRANE DOMAN / EPPICH

Former long-time Tri-Cities resident Anita Doman passed away on October 16, 2025 in Idaho Falls, ID.

Anita was born in Bennington, Bear Lake County, ID on November 16, 1932. She grew up in nearby

Montpelier and married Donald Ross Doman in March 1952 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple in Logan, UT. After Ross completed his Mechanical Engineering degree, they moved to Richland to work for General Electric.

As a full-time homemaker, she raised their five children with love, humor, and faith. Anita enjoyed life-

long reading/learning, flower arranging, gardening, playing softball, and making her family's favorite chocolate chip cookies. She was known for her attention to detail, and maintaining relationships with family members. The children also appreciated the creative birthday cakes she made reflecting their latest interests. She and Ross enjoyed traveling to 48 US states, Europe, Asia, and Central America.

As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Anita served in the women's

Relief Society, teen-age Young Women's group, as President of the children's Primary, and seminary

teacher, as well as in other congregations when Ross' jobs took them to Columbus, OH, Amarillo, TX,

Federal Way, WA, and Orchard Park, NY. Besides being a full-time homemaker, Anita worked as a hotel bookkeeper, retail clerk, secretary at a chemical company, technical editor/proofreader, and in the patent office at Battelle Northwest. In Ohio, she worked as a secretary for a law firm and as a QA secretary at Battelle's Columbus HQ. She also worked for Battelle in Texas.

After retiring, Anita and Ross did a 2-year service mission in their church's Tri-Cities employment office and another 18 months at the church's food services center. In 2001, she married Wayne W Eppich and they served 18 months in a regional office giving administrative support for 120-150 local representatives. She also cherished working 18 months in the church's temple in Richland.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, George Franklin Crane and Gladys Celeste "Casty" Peterson Crane, stepfather Herman Egley, sisters (Melba Bartschi, Beebe Hayward, Lillian Crane, Doris Crane), brother (George Ralph Crane), son-in-law Doyle Bowen, and great grandchild Hannah Doman. She was also preceded by her husband of 45 years, Ross Doman, who died in 1997, and her husband of 16 years, Wayne Eppich, who died in 2017. She is survived by her brother Lyman Crane, sister Carole Fishburn, and her children: Amy and Mike Furgason (Eugene, OR), Ava Doman and Doug Williams (Post Falls, ID), DeVon and Suzanne Doman (Idaho Falls, ID), Kae Doman (Richland, WA), and Eric and Charleen Doman (Provo, UT). She is lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. The family thanks the Eppich family of five children and their spouses and extended family of grandchildren and great grandchildren for loving Anita as their own.

A graveside memorial sharing of memories will be held at Richland's Sunset Memorial Gardens at 11

am on Sunday, November 2, where she will be interred next to Ross Doman.

Her favorite scripture reflects her faith: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the

world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27)
