Gilbert "G" Alexander Garcia, 31, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away on June 5, 2026, in Laveen, Arizona.

Born on May 3, 1995, in Kennewick, Washington, Gilbert was the beloved son of Marie Ann Ortiz and Alex Castaneda Garcia.

Gilbert earned his GED in Pasco, Washington, and later graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Arizona with a degree in Automotive Technology, while also earning his Associate of Arts degree. He dedicated 12 years of his life to working as a High-Performance Automotive Technician, specializing in Audi, McLaren, Lamborghini, Porsche, and Ferrari vehicles. Gilbert concluded his automotive career as a Foreman at Gilbert Audi and was preparing to earn his Cybersecurity Certificate.

At the age of 13, Gilbert joined the Young Marines and played baseball through the age of 18. He later spent several years participating in mixed martial arts (MMA) in Seattle.

Gilbert had a passion for gaming and baseball. He was always engaged in reading, learning new things, writing poetry, discussing politics, sharing his faith, and spending time with those he loved. Above all, he will be remembered for his contagious sense of humor and his ability to bring laughter and joy to those around him.

Gilbert is survived by his mother, Marie Ann Ortiz; his father, Alex C. Garcia; his siblings, AJ Garcia, Angel Garcia, and Cely Garcia; his grandmother, Dina Hernandez; his nephew, Izaiah Garcia; his uncle, Santos C. Garcia; and numerous cousins from both sides of the family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert Escalante Ortiz and Mary Villanueva Ortiz.

Gilbert's adventurous spirit, determination, unwavering faith, and deep love for his family and friends will forever be remembered. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made on those who knew and loved him will last a lifetime. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

A  Viewing for Gilbert "G" Garcia will be held on June 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Rosary starting at 6:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on June 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mueller's Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick, Washington.
