In Loving Memory of Gerardo Medrano Sr.

October 3, 1958 – April 15, 2025

Gerardo Medrano Sr., a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and respected member of his community, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025 at the age of 66 years old. Born on October 3, 1958, in San Pedro de las Colonias, Coahuila, Mexico, Gerardo's life was a testament to hard work, love, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Gerardo Medrano Sr (lovingly known as Honey) is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Socorro Medrano (Olivarez), whose partnership and love were the foundation of his life; His children Gerardo Medrano Jr, Jesus Medrano, Jennifer Medrano, and Yesenia Medrano-Cloy (LaMont Cloy) and his grandchildren Olivia Trevino, Malayshia Medrano, Saphyre Cloy, Melody Brooks, Annie Brooks, and Raiyah Cloy. Together, they built a beautiful family and legacy, who brought endless joy to his days.

A man of integrity and service, Gerardo Medrano Sr. proudly served in the National Guard, always ready to lend a helping hand to his country and his community. He was a skilled mechanic and entrepreneur, the proud owner of Major Tune, where his passion and craftsmanship were known to all who walked through his doors.

Those who knew Gerardo Medrano Sr. will never forget his kind spirit, sharp mind, and those unforgettable, beautiful baby blue eyes that lit up every room he entered. He had a rare ability to make everyone feel welcome, to fix what was broken – both in engines and in hearts, and to offer wisdom without judgement.

His legacy lives on through the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the strength he inspired in everyone around him. Though he may be gone from our sight, he will forever remain in our hearts.

A viewing service will be held on Friday May 2nd from 4pm – 8pm at Mueller's Funeral Home- 1401 S Union St, Kennewick, WA 99336. A celebration of life will follow on Saturday May 3rd at 12pm at Prayer Watch Christian Center- 602 S Washington St, Kennewick WA 99336. Family and Friends are welcome to come and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man.
