Gerald "Jerry" Lovelass passed away peacefully on his 87th birthday, September 1, 2023. Jerry was born on September 1, 1936 in Yakima, Washington. He served his country in the U.S. Army. In the 1960's he went to work for the Northern Pacific Railroad. He transferred to the Tri Cities in 1966 where he met the love of his life, Phyllis. On December 15, 1968 they were married! His three children and her four children became a family. He continued to work for the railroad and advanced to Switchman, Yard Master and Conductor.
