Gary Henderson was born December 18, 1957 in Clinton, Arkansas and passed away in the family home in Kennewick on February 20, 2013. He was the youngest of seven children born to Joe and Ruby Henderson. As a boy he loved horses and liked to go camping for days in the Arkansas woods with just his horse. His love of camping continued all his life and he enjoyed taking his family camping all over the northwest. Gary also enjoyed snowmobiling with the family at Tollgate. In his younger years he took up bullriding for a while. Gary moved to the Tri-Cities in the late 1970's and went to work at Boise Cascade for 22 years. Following that, he worked as Grounds Supervisor for Riverview Heights Cemetery. Gary was a diehard Razorback fan throughout his life. He also loved his motorcycle and enjoyed many day long rides with his wife Debbi at his back. Gary married his best friend Debbi Phillips on September 17, 1994 and together they raised four great kids. He was a loving and generous Dad to the kids and a wonderful Grandpa to his two little granddaughters. Gary was preceded in death by his father and father-in-law. Gary is survived by his wife Debbi, children Ed, Steven, Jacqueline and Donna and by granddaughters Payten and Addison, his mother Ruby, and siblings, Walt (Vicki), Ellen, Chris (Red), Glenda (Ron), Ann (Ron), Lynn and numerous nieces and nephews, his mother-in-law Peggy Phillips and Sister and Brother-in-law Donna and Bob Stout. Services will be held Monday, February 25 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 520 S. Garfield, Kennewick followed by inurnment services at Riverview Heights Cemetery, 10th and Olympia.
