Gail Marie
Ennen
Sep 26, 1940 — Jun 20, 2024
Gail Marie Ennen was born on September 26, 1940, to Violet and Robert
Morris in Halfway, Oregon. With her four daughters by her side, Gail
passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of June 20, 2024. Gail
fought a very difficult battle with cancer. She chose to fight hard and
stated a couple of times that she had four reasons to keep fighting,
meaning her four daughters. The treatments took a huge toll on her body, of
which she was unable to recover. Gail was preceded in death by her
parents, Robert Morris and Violet Johnson, by her husband, John "Pete"
Ennen, and by her sister, Marva Hadwin. Her family takes comfort in knowing
that she was kept as comfortable and pain free as possible, honoring her
wishes to be in her own home.
Gail and her four daughters moved to Kennewick in 1971. She married Pete
in 1974 and their blended family moved into the house that she considered
her forever home. Gail worked more than 25 years as a secretary at Hanford
in Richland, Washington. After she retired, she spent her time sewing,
knitting, crocheting, crafting, reading, and spending time with her family.
There are many many memories of family vacations, holiday and birthday
celebrations, graduations, weddings, and babies born to this crazy, loving
family. Gail will be missed by many and is loved by many. Gail will live
on in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.
Gail was a believer that Jesus Christ is her Lord and Savior. It comforts
her family knowing that she is in Heaven, is pain free, and is back with
the love of her life, Pete. It comforts her family knowing that they were
able to honor all of Gail's wishes for her final days in her earthly body.
Gail is survived by her four daughters, Lisa John (Arthur), Laura Renick
(Tony), Renee Nielson (Mark), Roberta Nieman, and two stepdaughters, Tammy
Ennen, and Kelly Pasco (David); brother Lester Morris; sister Sandra Speers
(Richard); grandkids, Candice Lull (Zac), Jason Kilgore, Kyle Kilgore
(Tabatha), Christian John (Alexandra), Briton Wilmarth (Zach), Erin Renick,
Tana Gomez (Cerilo), Samantha Pritchard (Ionatana), and Brandon Lingo; and
several great-grandkids and nieces and nephews.
