Frank Tavares Ferreira Jr., 90, of Bothell, Washington, died January 26, 2026. He was born February 23, 1935, in Hilo, Hawaii.

Frank served in the Korean War, an experience that shaped his strong sense of duty and gratitude. He spent his career with Chevron and Ernst Hardware before retiring. Known for his playful personality and quick wit, he made friends wherever he went and valued the relationships he formed through his work and community life.

A devoted Catholic, Frank lived his faith through action. He was a longtime supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and was active in the Knights of Columbus, where he was known for his generosity and willingness to serve others.

Family—ohana—was his greatest joy. He treasured time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, celebrating milestones and creating lasting memories. His grandchildren remember him as patient and playful—teaching games, sharing life skills, and helping them gain confidence in the water as he taught them to swim.

Frank is survived by his wife of 67 years, Eleanor; sons Gregory (wife Teri), Jeff (wife Jenny), and Mike; daughter Gina; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and siblings Dorothy, Betty Jane, Betty Lou, and Tony.

A Funeral Mass and Celebration of Life will be held on February 27th.
