Francis "Frank" Leonard Beaudry, 68 of Kennewick, WA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Spokane, WA. He was born November 6, 1945 in Yakima, WA. Frank serve in the U.S. Air Force 1965-1969 with eight assignments in Lackland and Amarillo AFB's in Texas, George AFB California, Udorn and Ubon, Thailand, Luke AFB, AZ; he finished as a Staff Sergeant (E-5). He earned various medals in Vietnam War including the Air Force Commendation Medal. Employers included Coca-Cola and Pacific First Federal. In 1982 Frank was employed by Ben Franklin Transit; took their Washington State driving course and drove for approximately two years, which he enjoyed. In 1984 he got his wish, being hired by The Rockwell Transportation Department on the Hanford Site, driving for the bus lot for many years before switching to the shuttle service. He was also a heavy duty truck driver. Retirement for him was in 2008, and he loved it. Frank started his journey in the Knights of Columbus on March 1st, 1973 in Ahtanum Mission Council 6007, then switching to Lakewood Council 4322 where he was an active member until relocating in Kennewick. Shortly after moving to the Tri-Cities he transferred his membership to the Richland Council 3307 where he worked his way through the chair officers finally serving as Grand Knight. In 1983 Frank was asked to assist the State officers and District Deputy to start a new council in Kennewick. When Council 8179 was chartered he was elected as the Chartered Grand Knight. Frank was also involved in the Knights of Columbus on the state level, served on the First and Third Degree Teams for over twenty-five years, was the Pennies for Heaven Chairman plus five other state chairmans. He was elected to the offices of State Warden and Advocate. Frank was also active in the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus as a Color Corps member, Faithful Navigator of Richland Assembly 1174 and Chartered Navigator of Kennewick Assembly 2258. He was also state district warden. Frank is survived by Janell, his loving wife of 47 years; son David of Oregon City, OR; granddaughters Sydney and Summerlyn of Colton, OR; sister-in-law Joan Carter of Salem, OR and her four children; sister-in-law Sheila Taylor of Yakima and her two children; brother Urban (Roberta) of Yakima; sister Donna (Cal) Paulus of Yakima, WA; brothers Don (Derry) of Edmunds, WA; Allan (Jill) of Chehalis, WA and Paul (Chris) of Yakima, WA; plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank was preceded in death by his father Oliver Beaudry, mother Irene, brothers Ronnie, Ray and wife Helen, Dick and wife Lois, Bob and wife Sandy, niece Debbie Tarbert and daughter Cheyene. Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, Friday, November 22, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 s. Union, Kennewick, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kennewick with burial following at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Moxee, WA. Memorials may be made in Frank's name to the American Heart Association.
