Floyd Morris, 58, passed away on September 28, 2006 at the Oregon Health Science University in Portland, OR. He was born on December 4, 1947 to William and Jessie Morris in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Floyd was a Vietnam Veteran and served two tours of duty. He received two purple hearts. He had a real love to the outdoors; hunting, fishing and cutting wood for winter. He also collected guns and knives. Taking pictures and videos of deer was also great fun for him. The joy of his life was his family, especially his grandchildren. Neither his heart nor his home was too small for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Cherie Morris of Pilot Rock, OR; mother, Jessie Morris of Kennewick, WA; son, Thomas Walton Morris of Portland, OR; daughter, Carrie Williamson of Kennewick, WA; Jennifer Morris of Richland, WA; step-children, David Starliper and Daniel Starliper of Portland, OR and Brian Starliper and Stephanie Starliper of Pilot Rock, OR; brothers, James Morris of Kennewick, WA, Allen Morris of Kennewick, WA, Thomas Marcy Morris of Kennewick, WA; sisters, Ellen Richard Gastel of Jasper, MO, Nancy Jack Julson of Kennewick, WA; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and fifteen grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his dad, William Morris; brother Gerald Morris. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 2:00p.m. at the Cathedral of Joy, 1153 Gage Blvd in Richland.
