Everardo Martinez

June 20, 1962 – June 8, 2025

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Everardo Martinez, who entered eternal rest on June 8, 2025, just days before his 63rd birthday. A devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished son, loyal brother, and faithful servant of God, Everardo touched countless lives with his gentle spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering commitment to family and community.

Born on June 20, 1962, to Leonel Martinez and Juanita Martinez, Everardo was raised with strong values rooted in faith, love, and hard work—principles that shaped his life and relationships.

In 1998, Everardo moved to Pasco, Washington, where he lived for over two decades. He worked with dedication and integrity for the Fleet Services Group at Hanford, specializing in inventory management. Following his retirement, he and his wife relocated to Alamo, Texas, to enjoy a peaceful new chapter surrounded by family.

Everardo was a proud and active member of the Knights of Columbus, where he served as Past Grand Knight and was a member of the 4th Degree Assembly, exemplifying a life of service, leadership, and faith. He also served in the Movimiento de Cursillos de Cristiandad in 2000, further deepening his spiritual commitment and walk with Christ through community outreach and evangelization.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalinda Martinez, and their children, Leonela Garza and Joshua Martinez. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Gavin Garza, Aubrey Garza, and Elijah Garza, the children of Leonela and her husband, Guillermo Garza.

Everardo is also survived by his siblings: brothers Eloy Martinez, Efren Martinez, and Leonel Martinez Jr.; and sisters Nelda Gonzalez and Nancy Garza. He was deeply loved not only by his immediate family, but also by his extended family — including his in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends — all of whom will miss him tremendously. A man of deep faith and quiet leadership, Everardo lived a life of purpose and grace. His memory will remain a blessing and inspiration to his family, friends, and community.
