Evelyn M. Hagans of Pasco, age 86, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2006 after a long illness. She was born March 19, 1920 in Vancouver, WA. to Maurice and Dora Morgan. She met her husband of nearly 66 years, James C. Hagans in high school. They lived in a small trailer, going from state to state, before settling down in the Tri-Cities. Evelyn loved the sun, and the outdoors and spent many happy hours camping, water-skiing, fishing, gardening and rock-hunting. She enjoyed traveling, visiting Hawaii, Canada, Alaska, Mexico, England and France. She served the Tri-Cities community for years when the Sage and Sand REACT Radio Club was active, was a member of the Pasco Rifle and Pistol Club, the Square Dance Club and the Tri-City Boat Club. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim; three children, Lynda Tully of Las Vegas, NV., Robert Hagans of Kahlotus, WA., and Cindy Hagans of Edmonds, WA. There will be a Graveside Inurnment on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 10:00a.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House, 2108 W. Entiat in Kennewick.
