Esther Marilee (Lee) Murphy, born January 1, 1938 in Soda Springs, Idaho, passed away on June 14, 2026. She lived in the Tri-Cities for 62 years and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Lee was preceded in death by her former husband and friend Allen L. Murphy and eldest son, Steve Allen Murphy. She is survived by her sister, Marlene Hiner and brother Raleigh Moore; her son, Mitch, and his wife, Tina; her daughter Shannon and her husband, Mark; her grandchildren, Josh, Sarah, Jessica, Justin, Steven, Jami, Steve, Tracy, Stefanie, Randy, Matt, Christina, Nick, Corey, Rachel and her 15 great-grandchildren. As well as, her beloved cat, Wally.

Lee spent her 40-year career working for what is now Lamb Weston, Pasco, WA. Over the years Lee enjoyed tending to her yard and garden, loving her pets, and spending time with family and friends. As a "New Year's baby", it was always a treat for her when family members would wait up to 12:00AM on New Year's Eve to be the first to call and wish her a happy birthday.

Graveside services will be held at Mueller's Desert Lawn Memorial Park on Union st. and 10th. Ave in Kennewick, WA, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
