Erik Edwin Wilkerson

March 4, 1977-November 13, 2023

Beloved son of Lori and Larry Wilkerson passed away peacefully at home on November 13, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.

Erik was a lifelong resident of Kennewick, graduating from Kamiakin High School, class of 1995, then obtaining his Bachelor's degrees in Crops & Soils Science, Ag Economics and Animal Husbandry from Washington State University in 1999, GO COUGS!

Erik was the fifth generation farmer on the family farm south of Kennewick. Growing up he enjoyed, farming, helping with the horses and playing soccer. He was involved in FFA at Kamiakin, earning both his State and National Farmer pins.

Erik was an active member of the Kennewick Baptist Church, enjoying his small group bible study.

He worked out at the Hanford Reserve for the last several years.

Erik enjoyed gardening, woodworking, home improvement projects, along with hiking, hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Erik is survived by his sons, Cody, Brayden, Pascal and Elisha Wilkerson. Sister Beth Wilkerson, Grandmothers Vera Berry and Marge Hays, Aunt Susan (Harvey) Abken, Uncle Ken (Nancy) Hays, Uncle Rick (LaVerne) Hays, Cousins, Aimee (Michael) Bergeson, Eddee Chapman, Brian (Heather) Hays, Julie (Kary) Condosta, Hollie (Cameron) Napora, Jordan (Abby) Hays, along with their children, and other extended family. Special friend Lanne Hiebert and family.

Services will be Saturday, November 18, 2023 11:00am at Kennewick Baptist Church, 2425 W Albany Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336.
