Emma was born in West Sinton, Texas to her parents: Emiterio and Magdalena DeHoyos Ybarra. The youngest of four, she moved to Pasco with her husband, Paco, in 1970. Emma and Paco had four children and she was a 'stay at home mom' until 1985 when she began working for the Pasco School District in Food Service. Emma worked for the school district twenty-two years, and it was there that Emma met a group of friends she loved and appreciated for many more years to come. Emma, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, is survived by her children: Ernie Guzman, married to Marci in Nampa, Idaho with their daughter Hallie; Joanna Guzman in Olympia, Washington; Irene Willers, married to Tim in Kent, Washington with their children Garrett and Janelle; and Katy Izaguirre, married to Johnny in Pasco, Washington. Emma is also survived by her two sisters-in-law Inez Woodruff and Paula Ybarra as well as numerous nieces and nephews who looked up to their aunt Emma. Emma will be reunited with her husband Paco, sister Maria, and brothers Pablo and Jose. Emma, may you be greeted with a warm hug in heaven that lasts for eternity. Viewing to be held at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home on Sunday, September 23rd at 3pm, with a Rosary at 6pm. Her memorial Mass will be held at Saint Patrick's Parish in Pasco Washington on Monday September 24th at 11 am. For this is the will of my father who sent me.
