Obituary

On October 22, 1997, in Pasco, WA Elwood Lamar Davis, III was born to DeShanna Campbell and Elwood Lamar Davis, II.

As a kid Elwood was full of life and enjoyed being outdoors, riding his Big Wheel bicycle and running around. At the age of four Elwood came to live with his Uncle Ronnie and Auntie Kay who later adopted him along with his siblings.

He loved creating obstacle courses and exercise workouts which lead him to playing a variety of different sports throughout his childhood. As a teen Elwood went to reside with his Aunt LaTrisha and her four children who embraced him as a brother. Elwood attended Hanford High School where he enjoyed playing football, basketball, and participated in track and field with the 1600 meter being one of his favorite events. His quiet and cool charm won him the title of Prom King his senior year.

In 2016 Elwood received an academic scholarship for this accomplishment and was one of two students recognized by the Tri-City chapter of Afro-Americans for an Academic Society (A.A.A.S.) for maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA for nine consecutive years. Elwood was astute, which made his academic studies easy for him.

After graduating from Hanford High School Elwood attended Washington State University Pullman for a short period of time. He then moved to Seattle, WA. Where he worked as an apprentice for Potter's Construction. In 2022 Elwood moved back home to Pasco, WA where he would remain until he was called home by the Lord. As he transitioned Elwood was surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Elwood will be deeply missed by his fathers (Ronney Campbell /Elwood Davis II (Kayla)), Mothers (Karen Campbell/ DeShanna Campbell), Sisters: Tara Campbell, Rebeca Hurdle (F. Conrad), Krystal Campbell, Kyliyah Davis, and Zionna Campbell.
