Elsie Eastlund Petty

Born Elsie Gertrude Carey on July 17, 1928, to James and Gertrude Carey in Bonner's Ferry, Idaho, went home to be with the Lord November 17, 2025, in Pasco, Washington.

Preceded in death by brothers Jim, Fred, Bill, and Jack Carey, Husband John Eastlund and grandson Sean Simmonds. Survived by husband Ernest Petty, son Rick Eastlund (Erik Eastlund), Daughters Carol Markahm (Chad Simmonds), Joan OHair (Shane OHair, Erin Papiez, Alissa Miller, Johnna Jones), Carey Anderson (Nikki Anderson, Jill Mathews) and 9 great grandkids and 12 step great grandkids.

Elsie was a Lady of many talents, a wife, mother, grandmother, a waitress, bank employee, co-owner of a grocery store, manager of a Handcock's fabric store, and owner of a successful drapery shop. SHE WILL BE MISSED.

Viewing will be Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 11:00am.
