Elaine Merrill passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3rd at age 96. A native of Idaho, she and her late husband, Winfred, moved to Eltopia in 1956 where they operated Merrill's Market, and later built a market and café at Merrill's Corner on Glade/Eltopia West Roads. They also lived for many years in the Colville area where they owned South Twin Lakes Resort. She had a love of music and played the piano in many dance bands. She was a devout member of the LDS Church. She is survived by her six children: Wendell (Geraldine), Max (Louise), Sharon Collins ( Al), Roger (Marva -deceased), Randall (Ramona), Danny (Sue), and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the Columbia Basin Ward LDS Church on September 10th, 11:00 AM, with a viewing from 10:30 to 10:45, and the prior evening at the Mueller Greenlee Funeral Home, 1608 W. Court St. Pasco, 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
