Elaine passed peacefully May 16th, 2026. She was born August 1st, 1941, to Stanley and Mabel Santhony in Dearborn, Michigan. As a young child, Elaine was a tomboy and loved spending time with her father target shooting - she received qualification as a Sharpshooter from the NRA at the age of 13. She loved attending school and Girl Scouts and had many friends. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Warren, Michigan then worked as an Engineering Clerk for Soss Manufacturing. Elaine and John met at a barn dance and were married in 1960 in Warren, Michigan. They made their home in Seattle, WA where John was employed with Boeing Co. and then subsequently moved to the Tri-Cities where John worked for Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and Elaine worked as an Administrative Assistant for Big Pasco Public Warehousing.

Elaine was generous, happy, and always ready to step in to help others. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Richland, WA where 'everyone is part of the family'. She loved travelling to Michigan and Canada to visit family and friends and attend family reunions. She also loved to drive her 1965 Mustang and attend old car shows and was a member of the Ye Olde Car Club (Tri-Cities).

She is preceded in death by her father and mother; husband (John), sister (Diane); niece (Becky); and many friends. She is survived by her daughter (Jacqueline Winters), son (John), grandsons (Dayne Winters, Johnny, Jacob), great grandsons (Andrew, Bodie Winters, Masyn), great granddaughter (Scarlett), numerous nephews and nieces and many friends. Elaine will be greatly missed!!

We, the family of Elaine, would like to thank you Lord Jesus for giving us your child as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother as she brought great joy, hope, laughter, strength, integrity, and much love into our lives. We thank you, Jesus, for the comfort and peace you are bringing to us now and in the days to come. Through Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
