Obituary

Edward Dwain "Dwain" Miller was born in Haddam, Kansas in 1937 and moved to the Tri-Cities in 1957. In that same year, he met Bonnie Baker who became his wife of 54 years and started work at the newly build Boise Cascade plant in Wallula, where he worked for the next 34 years. Dwain was always a committed provider for his wife and the five boys that would be born between 1958 and 1970. He loved being with his wife, kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, brother, and extended family. Over his years, he enjoyed horse riding, camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, and motorcycle riding. He was a man you could always count on with no complaints, highly respected, friendly, and ever ready to share his wonderful brand of humor. As a saved Christian, Dwain was prepared for his passing and will make quite a contribution in the next life. Dwain died of respiratory problems as a result of emphysema at Kennewick General Hospital, at 9:10 p.m., on Tuesday, with his family members at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward G. Miller and Mildred J. Miller; son Toby W. Miller; and his grandson, Benjamin A. Miller. He is succeeded by his wife, Bonnie J. Miller; brother Larry M. Miller wife Connie Miller; sons Alan D. Miller wife Nola Miller, Marty R. Miller, Tod L.Miller wife Nikki Miller and Corey G. Miller; nephews Brent Miller and Tim Miller; nieces Toni Webb and Dani Ashworth; grandchildren Mindy Wilson, Jerad Miller, Andy Miller, Steven Miller, Megan Miller, Lacey Thompson, Cameron Miller, Thomas Miller, Adam Miller, Lucas Miller; and great-grandchildren Cassidy Wilson, Hailey Davis, Ethan Shandy, Benjy Miller, Donovan Allen, and Logan Thompson. Celebration of Life services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at Grace Baptist Church, 10th & Union Street, Kennewick.
