Edward "Ed" Ray
Boggs
Aug 29, 1955 — Nov 6, 2025
Edward Ray Boggs | 1955–2025
Edward "Ed" Ray Boggs, 70, passed away on November 6, 2025, in Kennewick, Washington. He was raised in Sequim, Washington and moved to the Tri Cities in the early 1980's. Ed will be remembered for his easy-going spirit, quick wit, and the dependability that made him a cherished friend, coworker, and family member.
Born to Firn and Helen Boggs, who both preceded him in death, Ed grew up with a skill for making the people around him feel valued and at ease. After earning his GED, he built a long and accomplished career as a heavy equipment operator, mechanic, welder, logger, and carpenter. His versatility and dedication carried over into his role as a union representative, and he was known not only for his mechanical ability but also for his meticulous organization—maintaining stockroom and maintenance records with pride and precision.
Ed loved life in the Pacific Northwest. He enjoyed golfing, riding ATVs, camping, and finding any excuse to have a good time with those he cared about. His sense of humor, reliability, and genuine kindness made him the kind of man people were always happy to have in their corner.
He is survived by his wife, Candace Boggs; his daughters Amanda Norris and Jennifer Boggs; his six Grandchildren; and his brothers John Boggs and Bill Boggs. He was preceded in death by his brother Jim Boggs, along with his parents
A service to honor Ed's life will be held at Tri-Cities Funeral Homes (Mueller's), 1401 S. Union St., Kennewick, WA 99336, on December 5 at 3:00 p.m.
