Eddie Castillo passed away unexpectedly at home on February 13, 2025, at the age of 47. Eddie was a loving partner, father, son, and brother, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and resilience.

He was born in Inglewood, CA, on March 16, 1977 to Eddie and Carmen Castillo. He moved to Washington state in 2001 and was a 24-year resident of Benton City, WA. Eddie was known for his caring nature and dedication to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Castillo, and his beloved daughter, Bailey Castillo, both of whom he is now reunited with in heaven.

Eddie's family was his pride and joy, and his love for them was evident. He is survived by his long-time partner of 23 years, Lindsey Parr; his mother, Carmen Castillo, sister and bother-in-law, Tina and Alvaro Acevedo, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gayle and Chuck Hall, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tyler Parr and Chelsea Parr. Eddie's spirit lives on through his children: Austin Gray and daughter-in-law Samantha Gray, Conner Castillo, Davina Castillo, Anela Castillo, and Sophie Castillo. He was ecstatic to become a grandpa for the first time two years ago to his grandson, Baylee Gray. His children and grandchildren will forever carry his love and lessons in their hearts. Eddie was a wonderful foster dad to many children who came through their home over the years as well.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on March 1, 2025 at Mueller's Funeral Home in Kennewick, WA at 12:00pm and he will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Benton City, WA. There will be a potluck celebration at St. Francis Cabrini Parish Hall in Benton City from 2:00-5:30 p.m. Eddie's memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
