Dwight Leonard Hendrix died on August 29, 2007 of heart failure. He was born on December 29, 1952, in Phoenix, Arizona to Lee James Hendrix deceased and Dorris Louise Hendrix Patrick. Dwight lived a few years in Pasco, WA but spent most of his adult life in California?s Bay Area, most recently being San Mateo, CA. Dwight was a lover of life and people. He dedicated his last few years to helping recovering addicts re-enter societies main-stream. Beloved Dwight is survived by his mother, Dorris Louise Patrick of Moses Lake, WA; six siblings, David Hendrix of Palo Alto, CA, Sherry Hendrix Arteaga of Burbank, WA, Patricia Hendrix of Pasco, WA, Michael Douglas of Warden, WA, Lorri Douglas Zavala of Warden, WA and Stephen Douglas of Moses Lake, WA; his aunt, Lucille Warren and uncle, Randy Warren of Fresno, CA; and a host of relatives and friends.
