Duane Howard Good, 83, of Kennewick, WA, completed his life on earth at Regency Canyon Lakes and began to experience the joys of eternal life in Heaven with his loving Lord Jesus Christ, on March 10, 2018. Duane is survived by his loving wife Gladys, daughters Sheri(Chris) Phillips and Dyanna(Scott) Williams; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Duane was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Helen Good. Duane was born on October 9, 1934 to Fred and Helen Good in Newton, Iowa. He married Gladys Carlson on August 18, 1956, and entered the army in 1958, serving in Germany as a cryptographer and was honorably discharged in 1960. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry in 1962, and worked for Boise Cascade for 35 years as a chip buyer before retiring. Duane's service was at South Hills Church, serving as an elder, singing in the choir, Sunday school teacher, bible studies, visiting, and The Benevolence Fund. He always spent time with family, fishing, and his garden. He was also a beloved husband and father, man of integrity, and showed compassion for the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The family would like to thank Regency Canyon Lakes for all the wonderful and compassionate care he received while residing there. Duane's Celebration of Life Service will be held on April 6, 2018 at 11am at South Hills Church, 3700 West 27th Ave, in Kennewick, WA.
