Dr. William W. Brock, DVM, 85, passed away on May 3, 2007 in Kennewick, WA. Bill was born to Walter and Madge Brock on March 1, 1922 in Irvine, Kentucky. Bill was raised in Dayville, Oregon where he met and married his true love Mary Lou George. Bill was a WWII veteran and served proudly in the U.S. Navy. Bill joined the Navy on September 22, 1942 and was honorably discharged on June 26, 1946 with the rank of Aviation Radioman First Class. Bill was especially proud of being a graduate of the WSC Veterinary Medicine College in Pullman, WA. Bill opened up an animal clinic in Ritzville, WA in the mid-50?s where he made many long-term friends that he stayed in touch with throughout his long life. He moved to Kennewick, WA in 1969 to open up the Vineyard Veterinary Clinic where he cared for many family pets. Bill rode saddle broncs and bulldogged at rodeos in his younger years and enjoyed attending rodeos throughout his life. He also loved to fly airplanes during his time in Ritzville. Bill enjoyed hunting geese and pheasants, fishing for king salmon in the ocean and trout in nearby lakes. Bill was always ready to play a round of golf with his friends from Ritzville and the Tri-Cities. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Lou and sister, Anne. Bill is survived by his brothers, Richard of Lincoln, CA and Homer of St. Helens, OR; daughters, Terri Brock and husband Dwight Leisle of Bremerton, WA, Renee Brock and husband Fernando Gallardo and granddaughter Devyn of San Diego, CA, Patsy Herzog and husband Jay, and grandsons Alex and Cam of Tewksbury, MA; son Kim Brock and wife Jill and grandsons, Chase and Shayn. A Graveside Inurnment will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th and Union in Kennewick, WA on May 12, 2007 at 1:00pm.
