Dorothy Dean Wandling, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed into our Heavenly Father?s hands on September 21, 2007 with her husband and three children by her side. She was born on August 7, 1932, in Memphis, Texas, to Frank and Nora Roberts. As a child she moved to Granger with her family. She met her husband, Clarence, in her late teens at an Alfalfa Grange Hall dance. They were married on December 24, 1951 in New Mexico, where they resided until 1955 when they moved to Kennewick. Dorothy loved doing crossword puzzles, playing board games, traveling, and needlework but most of all spending time with her family. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clarence; children, Peggy Goss of Kennewick, Linda Fill and husband, Lynn, of Caldwell, Idaho, Ron Wandling and wife, Cyndi, of Kennewick and their children Kyle and Staci; her sisters Lola Bishop and husband Bill, Betty Carpenter and husband Tom Jr., Juanita Lester and husband Reg, Rosalee Clavey and husband Darrell; her brother Willard ?Burr? Roberts and wife, Pat and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her and preparing a room in Heaven are her loving parents, Frank and Nora Roberts; her brothers, Hollis, Dan and Frank Jr., and nephew Doug Roberts. The light of her love that shined so brilliantly for us cannot be extinguished. It will continue to be a beacon to guide us and keep us safe. Our thanks to our Heavenly Father for sharing with us one of his ?special? children. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S.
