Dorothy E. Boscola died March 28, 2016. She was born September 1, 1923 to Arthur and Ethel Huss. Ellensburg, Washington was her home until 1947, when she came to Kennewick. Her education included an Associate degree at CBC and her Bachelor's in education at Central Washington University. She began her teaching career at Kennewick High, transferring to Kamiakin High when it opened in 1970. She retired in 1984. Her interests included her memberships in Chapter ED. P.E.O. and Washington State Retired Teachers Association. Volunteer duties were spent at the Kennewick Senior Center and at Tel-Med at Kennewick General Hospital. Reading, sewing, gardening and traveling gave her a great deal of pleasure. Husband Louis V. Boscola and brother Donald D. Huss preceded her in death. She is survived by son Timothy J. Stafford and wife, Cherie, grandchildren Jana Monroe, Maren Brown and Cara Berry, and Sam and Sabrina Bunch, all of Kennewick. Surviving brother is Clifford E. Huss and wife, Joan, of Dayton, Washington and sister-in-law Marjorie Huss, of Ronald, Washington. At her request there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, any memorials should go to the Alzheimer's Association or Chapter ED, P.E.O. of Kennewick.
